Schedule
07:30 am : departure from Sofia. Your exact pick-up time will be advised on your confirmation.
Pick-up from your hotel in Sofia is included.
09:15 am : arrival at the base station of the Rila Lakes chair lift*
After arriving at the parking of the chairlift you have free time to explore the area on your own.
You can take the chairlift and walk around the mountain lakes or take one of the hiking routes up the mountain.
*Note: chairlift ticket is not included
16:30 pm : departure from the parking of the chair lift in direction to Sofia city. About 2 hours journey to Sofia.
18:30 pm : arrival in Sofia city. Return to your hotel is included in the price.
Booking your Rila Shuttle
Book your private transfer on-line at least 48 hours before your date of travel using the fast & easy booking form.
Important! For reservations with less than 48 hours notice - please contact us first at info@rilashuttle.com to check availability.
Payment in advance is required to make a reservation. The booking form will take you to a PayPal screen for secure credit/debit card payment. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make the payment - just an international credit or debit card.
Payment is 100% refundable if a booking is cancelled up to 3 days prior to the travel date.
We do not accept bookings or payment over the telephone.
Up to 24 hours before travel date you will receive by e-mail your Rila Shuttle voucher with exact pick-up time (around 7:30 am) an emergency contact number.
Before you go
The 7 Rila Lakes are located high in the Rila National Park.
Consider appropriate warm clothing, rain coat, sunglasses and sun cream and comfortable walking shoes.
